Silbitz Group Under New Ownership – VTC acquires the Silbitz Group
The ownership structure of the Silbitz Group has changed. As part of a share purchase, the VTC Group has acquired all shares in the Silbitz Group from Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG).
The Silbitz Group already shares a common history with VTC. From 2010 to 2015, the VTC Group was a shareholder in the Silbitz Group and therefore has a comprehensive understanding of the company, its markets, and the specific requirements of the foundry industry.
The VTC Group includes, among others, Baettr, an internationally active manufacturer of high-quality cast components and solutions, particularly for the wind energy sector and other demanding industries.
By combining the strengths of Baettr and the Silbitz Group, a stronger corporate group is created with expanded expertise, a broader range of services, and a global production presence in Europe, India, and China. This lays the groundwork for operating with even greater flexibility and supporting customers closer to their respective markets.
For customers and business partners, continuity is the top priority: Existing business relationships, contracts, and obligations will continue unchanged. The usual points of contact will remain the same. Quality, on-time delivery, supply reliability, and collaborative partnerships will continue to be top priorities in the future.
At the same time, the new structure opens up additional opportunities. The companies can pool their expertise, learn from one another, further strengthen their innovative capabilities, and jointly develop new solutions. The goal is to provide even better support to customers and business partners in the future, further expand international competitiveness, and achieve sustainable growth together.
